The course includes a PowerPoint presentation that covers all aspects of Food Safety Training, followed by a required State of Illinois, City of Chicago Test. Both English and Spanish classes are available.
Food Safety Training includes knowledge, training guides, and safety management certification for a certified management certificate that is valid for up to five years. Overall, you'll receive proper training from a certified instructor and the food safety license, which is a manager food safety certificate which is valid for the state of Illinois, and good for 5 years. Once complete, you'll have the proper training for your staff and support if you have questions later, and you can also contact us for clarification if necessary. The Training Manual is a simple training guide that provides focus points for training. This makes it easy to go to class with questions prepared. You'll also be able to read everything and align yourself with the principles, practice, and study before you go to class.

Costs

Classes are $145 and include the State of Illinois Certificate. You can also get a separate City of Chicago Certificate for an additional $55.

Private Classes

For owners and operators with more than 10 employees, we offer a private class for your restaurant. We visit your location to provide the training, give the test on-site, and submit the tests to the proper organizations for grading and submission for City or State certification. This allows you to get more than one person certified at your private class, or you can register your staff at our location. Contact us for details regarding private courses in food safety.
